Day 1: ARRIVAL
Our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your proposed accommodation site in Kampala, depending on the time of arrival. If your flight arrives in the morning, you are advised to change your money in Ugandan Shillings for use in your safari. You can then make urban trips to some of Kampala's historical sites with the help of our driver/guide. This can be done in places like; Kasubi Tombs, Wamala tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Museums and craft shops around town like on Bombo road name it. Dinner and overnight at Speke Hotel Kampala / Hotel Africana or similar standing.
Day 2: KAMPALA - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
From Kampala, you will head to Murchison Falls National Park, but you will first take a luncheon at Masindi then proceed to the magnificent falls. So wondrous! Marvel at the robust Nile as it is farfetched into 7m abyss to rumble 45m below. Check the series of cascades it forms, which can be viewed at different points up to the culmination. Next will be the dinner and overnight at Luxurious Paraa Lodge/Mid range Sambiya River lodge /Basic Red chillis camp
Day 3: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early morning for breakfast, set for a half-day game drive on the northern Bank of the Nile River. The choice is yours to either make a game walk to trail animals and study their spoors. Game in this park includes; Rothschild Giraffe, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest, Lions, Waterbucks and a variety of Savannah woodland birds. After lunch, at 14:00 hrs, launch on a Nile boat cruise to view aqua game at close proximity. This is a unique encounter with a paradise of hippos and crocodiles, among other animals. Then take dinner and overnight at Luxurious Paraa Lodge /mid range Sambiya River lodge /Basic Red chillis camp.
Day 4: MURCHISON FALLS - FORT PORTAL
Depart Murchison Falls after an early breakfast. Head for Fort Portal, the area where Semliki & Kibale Forest National Parks are situated. The drive is approximately 8 hours. Dinner and overnight .
Day 5: FORT PORTAL - SEMLIKI
Retreat early after breakfast for the crown and hot springs. This will be the day in the pygmy villages located near the Ituri Rainforest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an interesting cultural experience. The guide will carry packed lunch for you who he will serve at the Picnic while you experience the TRUE AFRICA. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to Fort Portal. You will arrive in the evening then take dinner and an overnight.
Day 6: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK.
Take breakfast early morning and Leave for Kibale Forest National Park, this is commonly accepted to have a superlative diversity and highest massing of primates in East Africa. Go for a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest evergreen in exploration of the Hot springs, black white colobus monkeys, wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, butterflies of different species and many others. Have a luncheon, then go to the Crater Lake region and view the various Crater Lakes. Repose as you watch a traditional talent group dance. Take your dinner and overnight.
Day 7: KIBALE - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
Shift to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we take on a morning game drive in search of the wild game view a beautiful panorama of the great lakes of Lake Edwards and Lake George and their gutter the great Kazinga channel. Drive to the Institute of Ecology; take your accommodation at Mweya safari lodge. Expect elephants, lions, buffaloes, kobs, the Python, hyenas, warthogs, birds' hippos etc. A buffet lunch is organized at Tembo Restaurant. At either 15.00 or 17.00 hrs we take a boat -cruise along Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George., expect to get exposed to a bird sin abundance both typical and migrants and the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. Dinner at Tembo Restaurant and overnight at Luxurious Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge.
Day 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
Early in the morning after breakfast at Mweya safari lodge take a walk to the ground of the Uganda Kob. Search for lions in their natural habitat, as well as elephants, buffaloes etc. before returning for lunch. After stretching our legs, we visit the bat cave and hunters cave where we take a close
look at the bats, rock python and forest cobras. The same walk will provide a chance of seeing birds, primates, tree species etc. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - BWINDI.
After breakfast, drive through the grassland area and instantly come across an amazing gorge of tropical rainforest 100m deep. Trek into Kyambura River Gorge for an extraordinary; experience hiking chimpanzees. It's so remunerative to see the ravishing river valley, home of many birds and butterfly species. Take your lunch as you prepare for a drive to Bwindi through Ishasha for dinner and overnight at Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Homestead or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 10: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK.
Given the fact that gorilla tracking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will actually hike. The escapade of tracking the gorillas in the superb ecosystem of the park will be passionate for the adventurers. It may take 2-8 hours or more and you should be prepared to a walk long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. "The excitement of seeing the gorillas makes it all worthwhile!" Briefing will be given on how to handle or behave with these gentle giants always. After gorilla tracking Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Homestead or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 11: BWINDI - LAKE BUNYONYI.
Participants can opt to have a guided nature walk in Bwindi. This decision should be based on whether they should use the village trial or one of the five trails. After a Lunch break, we depart for Lake Bunyonyi .for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland camp or Arcadia cottages.
Day 12: LAKE BUNYONYI:
Not denying the inevitable rigorous day at Bwindi, most clients will cherish some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake. Tourists will choose among the various tour activities.
They can choose to go birding, cycling, and sun bathing, swimming or even canoeing. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages/ Bunyonyi Overland camp.
Day 13: LAKE BUNYONYI - LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK.
Very early in the morning, given the little time, take breakfast, then have a drive of 4 hours to Lake Mburo National Park. A game drive today will enable us to see the zebras, topes, elephants, elands, impalas, buffalos, antelopes, etc. Dinner and overnight at Mantana luxury tented camp /Agip Motel in mbarara.
Day 14: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA - JINJA.
After breakfast, we transfer to Kampala, then to Jinja. Places to visit are Itanda Falls, the Source of the Nile and a number of fishing villages. Dinner and overnight at Nile Resort Jinja or Hotel Triangle all with water view.
DAY 15: CITY TOUR AND DEPARTURE.
Take breakfast, and then transfer to Kampala for a Partial City tour and later shopping in the city craft shops or even others (this depends on the time of the flight). After lunch, you are later transferred back to the airport for your return flight back home.
