Day 1: Kampala - Kisoro
We set off from Kampala at 7am to Kisoro via Kabale. This journey is a day drive to Kisoro will have lunch en route we finally arrive in Kisoro, check in at the hotel for diner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking
After breakfast we set off for Gorilla tracking, with our guide leading us through the gorilla world and he explains their behavior, ecology and you are free to inquire about anything from the guide as u enjoy the view of birds, flowers, trees. After a long day of tracking you return to your accommodation for overnight after enjoying your Dinner.
Day 3: Hiking the 3 peaks of Mt. Sabinyo.’’oldmans teeth’’
We head to experience the 3 challenging peaks climb in shape of an old man’s teeth on this volcano. A climb up the mountain takes one up a ridge along the eastern side of the peak climb. A climb to peak two involves walking a ridge with breath –taking drops into gorge of Rwanda and Uganda a dual experience u will achieve here. Finally hike up to peak 3 is steep with several ladders and mush scrambling as u get your hands dirty.
Once on top you will be in Uganda, DRC, and Rwanda. What a triple experience this is!!! This trip takes about 8-9 hours to cover a 14km stretch depending on your fitness. We then return to the hotel for Diner and overnight.
Day 4: Hiking Mt Muhavura 12kms 8-9 hours
After breakfast you checkout of the Hotel,we then set off for the Hiking with a guide to the typically cone-shaped mountain. You will go through a rocky surface covered by grasses and small shrubs. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with the view of the virunga volcanoes, Lake Edward in Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi and the peaks of Mt Rwenzori for this activity you have to take parked food for lunch, enough drinking water, rain gears, good hiking shoes and walking stick.
Day 5: Kisoro - Kampala
After breakfast we set off for Kampala leaving the Known Switzerland of Uganda, have a stopover at the equator then eventually reach Entebbe have diner and overnight.
Day 6: Entebbe – Airport.
After your breakfast depending on your flight, there is an option of you visiting the UWEC (Uganda wild life education center), the botanical gardens or the endangered chimpanzees on Ngamba Island. Then you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
