Ugandans still face challenges in accessing justice (Aug2015)
The Afrobarometer Round 6 survey in Uganda was conducted between May 6 - 28, 2015 in 95 of the 112 districts, and covered 300 villages randomly selected across the country in proportion to the latest 2014 national population and household census. Results indicate that support the majority of ugandans still face challenges in accessing justice, from mistrust in justice institutions, high court fees, a complex court process, long delays and difficulties in obtaining legal counsel.
